Inspired by the School of Nancy in France, Robert Lefebvre gives here the full measure of his Mastery of layout and wood. He uses the rare Maple Trees choosen from his sugar bush to reinforce the essential organic character in the Art Nouveau. An ingenious hidden rail system allows the chair to slide back and forth. The wood in this piece of Art is over 300 years old!

Fabrication

  Creation and manufacture of a secretary with a flap center, covered with a leather band. This section includes 2 small drawers, a compartment with a door, 1 shelf and under, a space to store a laptop. The top tray is decorated with rounded corners. The central panels, in Maple coti, are inserted in the frame. The borders are carved in round. The center border is adorned with a sculpture of “Chardons”. The high sides include rounded oscillating panels inserted in the frame. The solid wooden legs are very slender organic style, typical of Art Nouveau.
