Description

History and Inspiration

Robert creates a practical buffet, hand curved, style Louis XV with cut rounded doors – Lower front part sculptured with different designs and a shell which is Robert’s signature on all his realizations of Louis XV. Hugues, amongst his numerous passions, loves history and particularly Napoleon’s epic part of the French Revolution. Hugues has painted with great talent, in transparency, some fresco from this epic time. The top of the buffet is an imitation of jade but entirely made in paint transparency.

Rounded doors cut in the wood. Top is made with round angles. Sides have waved panels inserted in the structure.
